As Labelling Assistant with McGhee's Bakery you will be on your feet for your whole shift, carrying out manual tasks alongside the rest of the production and packing team.
You will be shown what's required to produce the large number of different product label requirements, how to ensure accurate date coding and machine set up. As well as this, you will also learn how to carry out a number of different product packing roles so that you can be available to cover a number of positions in the packing area.
You will have an aptitude for learning and machine operation and ideally have experience in doing this in another environment.
Your initial hours of work will be 10.00 to 18.30, 5 days per week including a Sunday each week. Our bakery runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Your starting pay of £10.53 / hour is a flat rate for all hours worked.
You will have one 30 minute unpaid break plus one 20 minute paid break each day.
