Shop Assistant
Stamford & Bourne | Customer Service | Weekend Working
Overview
We are looking for someone to join our shop team on a full-time basis. This position will be prominently based at our Stamford shop but with flexibility to work at our Bourne Shop as required. There will also be a requirement to work Saturdays and Bank holidays. This is a great opportunity to work alongside our beautiful products whilst giving our customer’s a first-class shopping experience.
About You
The ideal candidate will have high levels of enthusiasm and motivation. You will enjoy working in a team environment and you will have a natural ability to delight our customers. Being customer focused is absolutely essential to this role.
Ideally you would have already worked in a retail environment and have confidence to interact with our customers. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a helpful manner – nothing is too much trouble when it comes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing high levels of customer service at all times
- Maintaining excellent shop conditions
- Keeping the shop fully stocked
- Advising and communicating with our customers
- Assisting in visual merchandising
- Phone call handling
- Processing shop orders and deliveries
- Keeping up to date with key product information
- Processing transactions on our till system
